Spring Happenings In Chicago You Won’t Want to Miss
The ground is thawing and the temperatures are consistently above freezing; it’s safe to say springtime in Chicago is here! It’s been a particularly tough winter this year, so spring is coming at the perfect time.
Whether you have friends or family coming into town this spring or you’re interested in exploring new sights, sounds, and experiences for yourself, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. We’ve compiled a list of fun and COVID-safe activities for you to explore below.
Set Sail Aboard Our Architectural Tour
We are thrilled to announce that the best architectural cruise in Chicago will be open again for business starting Saturday, April 17th! While we took a short hiatus due to COVID-19, our team is ecstatic to get back out there with all of you!
We weren’t voted TripAdvisor’s #1 rated bout tour for nothing! This is a 90-minute tour that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Our knowledgeable tour guides will take you throughout the Chicago River, educating you about the city’s incredible architectural history.
Please note that we will be operating only on the weekends for the time being. We will be sure to keep you updated as our schedule becomes more open!
Soak Up the City's Green Space
The snow is (hopefully) gone for good, leaving behind plenty of green space for Chicagoans to explore! Take advantage of Chicago’s greenery located throughout the city. Some of the top destinations include Millennium Park in the heart of downtown Chicago, Grant Park that spans across the lakefront, Garfield Park on the west side of the city, and South Shore Cultural Center Park. Don’t forget to pack the sunscreen!
Bike & Brunch Tour
There’s nothing quite like enjoying a weekend brunch in Chicago, and why not spice things up by biking there? Take advantage of the city’s Divvy bike stations located throughout a variety of neighborhoods. You can support a local neighborhood restaurant in the process! Sitting outside can help ensure your brunch is COVID-friendly.
